OK, so I’m lucky — I never need to lose more than 10 lbs after the holidays. But this year I could do it differently: I could lose the weight before the holidays. And then I can eat from Thanksgiving to New Year’s and end up in reasonable shape on January 1st. Is this possible? Perhaps, now that Ed’s new book is out.
Ed Jackson’s new book is The Complete Idiot’s Guide to 200-300-400 Calorie Meals. The recipes are good — I know. Because I know Ed; we wrote a book together a couple years ago: The American Lighthouse Cookbook. And those recipes were great. Plus, I know Ed likes to eat. He’s not going offer any recipes he doesn’t want to eat.
BTW he wrote it with a nutritionist, Heidi McIndoo. This before-the-holidays plan is looking better and better, don’t you think?
