This is a book I think every wine-drinker should be issued when they ask their first question about wine. Seriously, Zraly is one of my heroes. Because he simplifies wine for beginners and not-so-beginners. He somehow makes you understand a broad spectrum of wine knowledge you never thought you’d get into your head. Just checked Amazon: Windows on the World Complete Wine Course is way less than $20 right now.
AND if you ever have a chance to take a class or seminar with him, do it: it’s even better than the book.
(Why is the book sitting on my stairs? Because I can’t decide to whether to leave it in the kitchen with the wine, or take it up to my office as a permanent reference book…)
